One UV CMOS chip can grow into very different products. Below are the applications we have already shipped or are developing, each with a recommended configuration so you can quickly judge the fit for your project.
Portable UV imaging products for the consumer and personal-care market, available as OEM/ODM. Users can see sunscreen coverage directly and judge whether to re-apply; they can also see dermis-level spots and sun damage invisible to the naked eye, making sun protection visible and measurable. Beyond skincare, the same products inspect jade, antique porcelain, hotel linens, car body repaint and much more.
UV imaging built into makeup mirrors, makeup-removing mirrors and smart bathroom mirrors, available as OEM/ODM. Users confirm at a glance whether makeup is fully removed and sunscreen evenly applied — turning invisible cleanliness into a simple visual check, a genuine differentiator for premium beauty hardware.
Fingerprints, footprints, bloodstains and some body fluids show high contrast under UV light. The uvlook 230 finds traces quickly in mixed ambient lighting, helping investigators locate evidence and reducing reliance on chemical reagents. UV endoscopes can detect earlier-stage lesions and pre-clinical skin changes, and real-time viewing during skin surgery helps reduce wound size.
Coating uniformity, adhesive residue, fine cracks, oil films and foreign objects show clear contrast in UV imaging, and the same setup monitors leakage and discharge. Non-contact, non-destructive and capable of running online at high speed — a good fit for production-line QC and automated inspection equipment.
UV try-on kiosks and vending machines deployed at beauty counters, stores, trade shows and tourist sites. Customers apply sunscreen on the spot and immediately see the coverage in the UV image, along with dermis-level spots invisible to the naked eye — a visual experience that measurably lifts conversion and store revenue.
Camouflaged targets that are hard to distinguish in infrared and visible light show different signatures in the UV band. The uvlook 230 serves as the UV imaging core in UV drone quad-sensor gimbals, UV rifle scopes, UV telescopes, UV helmet eyepieces and UV terminal guidance.
Describe your application and we will assess whether the 130-EM or 230 fits, then advise on selection and integration.
